Digging for razor clams using a clam gun is a fun activity all ages can enjoy. The traditional clam gun made of steel or a PVC tube is unwieldy and inefficient. Using them can turn a relaxing recreational activity into a back-breaking ordeal. Get clams out of the sand faster and easier with Clam Vac, our amazing hybrid clam gun.
We have over 10 years of clamming experience. With our in-depth knowledge of clam guns, we know what is needed to improve the traditional design and create a tool that anyone can easily use.

Avoid Back Strain

We named our device Clam Vac because it brings up the razor clams, not the beach. It is lightweight and designed to be gentle on your back. Even people with back issues can use our device without a problem. Our new models are very light, ranging from 3 lbs. for the 30” model to 3.5 lbs. for the 36” model.

Built to Last

Clam Vac is handcrafted in the USA and designed to last for many years of clam digging. We construct our Clam Vacs using a sturdy 5” aluminum barrel with an attached suction release vent tube. 

Clam Guns for All Heights

Clam Vac is available in 4 comfortable operating heights but can be customized to your specifications. A 30” model is now available for vertically challenged individuals or kids that need a quality gun that fits their height well.

The owner’s better half caught the two biggest clams of the day after they both reached the limit in just over an hour. This was how it all began.

  9/11/26       OR Domoic Acid test results are posted. North coast (Tillamook Head in Seaside to the Columbia River) is still closed until October 1st. 
  
   Coming soon to a beach near you, Razor clamming kicks off the start of a new season!
Oregon's North coast will open back up Oct. 1st followed by Washington beaches on Oct. 9th.
We had a great time as a vendor at the Seaside SandFest. Sales were good, and enjoyed talking to many people from all around the country. Time to get things put away and continue to build up inventory due to one of our competitors leaving the marketplace. As always this site will continue to keep you all updated.

The owner took his dad out for his first clamming experience with the 1st edition Clam Vac's on the 4th of July 2013. He got his limit without having to bend over and chase them. The Clam Vac did its job with excellent results!
